While caste-based discrimination continues to grow, equality is just a dream. Caught in the cycle of poverty and exploitation, Dalits are deprived of opportunities in life. They remain marginalized and invisible and live in an abject poverty. We believe every human being should have opportunities to succeed in life, irrespective of where or how he or she is born. We all owe to our vulnerable fellow citizens as they have gone through oppression for centuries.
